Nottingham offers some of the best shopping in the UK.
In a recent survey the city was placed second in the league table of retail centres outside London's West End. Nottingham really is a shopper's paradise with over 1,200 shops to choose from, from high street favourites to a great choice of unique niche retailers.
Nottingham has four covered shopping centres and six major department stores, as well as specialist areas. Fashion seekers should not miss the Bridlesmith Gate area; antique hunters should pay a visit to Derby Road and for unusual gifts, furniture and fashion ideas, Hockley, in the Lace Market cultural quarter, is a must.
