The Falkirk Wheel - 21st century sculpture and engineering marvel. The steel structure towers over visitors as it fulfils its function as the world’s first rotating boatlift, transferring boats from the Forth and Clyde to the Union Canal.
Callendar House - An imposing mansion with a 600 year history, where costumed interpreters take you back in time to experience life in an 1820’s Georgian kitchen. You can also view the fascinating exhibitions and experience "Forbes Falkirk" 1750 - 1850 through interactive displays and interpretative areas.
Bo’ness and Kinneil Railway - Spend a nostalgic day reliving those romantic days of steam. Treat yourself to morning coffee or afternoon tea as you are transported through the roaming Forth Valley countryside on the seven-mile round trip.
